The Carberry Figure Skating Club is proud to introduce our two competing synchro teams; Energ*Ice Beginner 1 and Energ*Ice Elementary.
Our Beginner 1 team has eight skaters, they range in ages from 7-10. This is their first year as a team and their very first competition ever! The girls have been practicing their program with all the required elements since the beginning of November and are very excited to be making their Synchronized skating debut in their home rink!
Our Elementary team has been skating together for four years, these nine skaters range in age from  9 - 11.   This will be their first year competing at this level and the girls can’t wait to show off the skills and elements they have been working hard on.
Our club will be hosting the 2019 Skate Canada Manitoba Synchro Championships on Saturday, January 19 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  We invite you to come and watch as 250 skaters on 22 teams from across Manitoba skate their synchro routines before a panel of judges from  Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.  These teams will perform their routines twice for score, remarks and provincial titles, all the while proudly showcasing the hard work, skating skill and teamwork that goes into each routine.  Admission at the door is Adults $5.00, Students $3.00, 5 & under are free.
Stop in to witness some fantastic skating, enjoy a meal at the canteen or to enter into our raffle draw.  We have fabulous prizes including an autographed Matt Nichols Blue Bomber football, two framed Jets player's pictures one which is signed by Patrik Laine, a pizza oven, hoodies and blankets, just to name a few.
