The voters of Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa have spoken and have decided to send Robert Sopuck back to Ottawa for another four years.

In one of the longest elections in recent history (78 days total). The five candidates travelled all over the new constituency taking part in different celebratory events, debates and talking to the people, listening to the issues and explaining to them what their party would do in Ottawa and why they would be the best person for the job. With the majority of Canadians voting out

Here is how the results turned out:

Robert Sopuck - Conservative…………… 19,229 (46 %)

Ray Piché - Liberal…………………………..... 12,193 (29%)

Laverne M. Lewycky - NPD………………... 5.083 (12%)

Inky Mark - Independent…………………... 3,369 (8%)

Kate Storey - Green Party………………….. 1,588 (4%)

With the majority of Canadians saying it's time for a change and voting out the Conservative Party, it will be interesting to see how the next four years will go for Justin Trudeau and the Liberals, they certainly got a lot of work ahead of them.
